Aftab Hasnain: Poularly known as ‘Author of the Era’ in the literary world, noted writer Aftab Hasnain the eminent Urdu Playwright and author has initiated a criminal proceedings against the producer-director and actor Kumar Raj, actress Rekha Rana and Kumar Raj Productions for committing offences of cheating, criminal breach of trust, criminal intimidation and copyright violations with respect to his iconic book “Yahan Ameena Bikti Hai”.
According to Mr Aftab Hasnain, the producer Kumar Raj has illegally made a film “Ameena” based on his iconic book “Yahan Ameena Bikti Hai” without his permission and authorization and in violation of copyright provisions.The Writer has accused Kumar Raj and others of committing fraud, cheating, criminal breach of trust, criminal intimidation, defamation and tampering with the original form of his book.
Aftab Hasnain, through his lawyers Advocate Kailashchandra G. Nailwal, Advocate Asha Sharma, and legal intern Ms Pooja Sharma, has filed a criminal case against producer-director Kumar Raj, and Ms Rekha Rana before Hon’ble Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Andheri today,
