Mumbai: former Maharashtra minister Mohammed Arif Naseem Khan alleged here on Saturday that present government in Maharashtra trying to
communalise voters ahead of assembly poll in state.
Mr Khan was talking to reporters after demolition squad of Mumbai Municipal corporation have gone to Dharavi areas to demolish a top portion structure of a mosque.
Mr Khan along with his thousands of supporters reach the spot and explain to police and municipal corporation demolition squad that under the GR of 2011, the top structure of this mosque can not be demolish. Subsequently, the demolition squad have returned back, said Khan.
He said that it was conspiracy of present government who trying to destabilize the peace and Harmony by indulging and promoting the such act.
He said that the said mosque is 35 years old and community people are coming here for prayers since long. How the suddenly structure became illegal, Mr Khan question.
Mr Khan further said the proposal of redevelopment of entire Dharavi areas has been completed by authorities and this structure was included during their survey report. UNI SP.
