Thane – Ramgiri Maharaj of Nashik had made offensive remarks about the prophet of the Muslim religion Hazrat Mohammad Prophet. Almost fifteen days have passed since a case was registered in Mumbra Police Station in this regard. However, Ramgiri Maharaj has not been arrested yet. Mohammad Yousuf Mohammad Farooq Khan, convener of All India Divyang Sena, has warned that if this arrest is not made by September 15, then from Eid Milad i.e. from September 16, they will sit on indefinite hunger strike in front of Mumbra Police Station.
In Nashik, Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj has made a statement insulting the prophet of the Muslim religion, Hazrat Mohammad Prophet and defaming his character. After this statement, there were angry reactions in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Nashik and other places. However, peace was maintained in Muslim-majority Mumbra. Since the Muslims here are striving for religious social peace, the Muslim brothers here tried to register a complaint at the Mumbra Police Station yesterday (16th) as a way of peace. However, the concerned police officers refused to register the complaint. Also, the complainants were made to sit in one place for about six hours. Finally, after thousands of people gathered, the police registered a complaint. Although fifteen days have passed since this complaint was filed, Ramgiri Maharaj has not been arrested. If this arrest is not made before Eid Milad, then we should call Dr. in front of Mumbra Police Station. Khan has warned that he will sit on hunger strike at Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk.
